What Data We Collect
When you visit specivo.io, we may collect:
- Analytics data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, country, device type. Collected via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity after you accept cookies.
- Server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL. Retained for 30 days for security and debugging.
- Contact form data — your email and message if you submit the contact form.
We do not collect passwords, payment information, or personal documents.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and analytics tools to understand how people use the site. No tracking scripts load until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner.
If you accept:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — traffic analytics
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session replay
If you decline: none of the above load. A single localStorage key (specivo_consent_v1) records your choice so we don't ask again.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers.
How We Use Your Data
- Understand which pages and features are used
- Fix bugs and improve site performance
- Reply to contact form messages
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing. Analytics services (Google, Microsoft) process data under their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
- Analytics data: retained per each provider's default policy (Google: 14 months)
- Server logs: 30 days
- Contact form messages: until manually deleted
Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD)
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent — decline cookies at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to processing — opt out of analytics by declining cookies
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form.
Open Source
Specivo is open-source software. The source code is publicly available on GitHub. This transparency extends to how we handle data — you can inspect exactly what the software does.
Data Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption for all connections. Access to server infrastructure is restricted to the site operator via SSH key authentication.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision.
