Migration tools

Switch trackers. Keep your history.

Open-source tools that read your current tracker, read-only, and write an open import bundle. Specivo checks the bundle, rehearses the load and imports it: issues with their full history, comments, attachments, people, wiki pages and logged time.

Available tools

Each tool runs on your side, needs read access only, and changes nothing in the system it reads.

A move you can rehearse

Every tool works the same way, so you can try a migration as often as you like before you switch.

  1. Export

Run the tool against your tracker while it keeps working. Start with one project.

  2. Validate

Specivo checks the bundle before it touches a database: format, references, files.

  3. Rehearse

A dry run does the whole import and rolls it back. Load a test instance and look around with your team.

  4. Load

Import everything at once, or project by project. Links between bundles resolve whichever comes first.

  5. Check the report

Whatever could not be carried over is listed, so nothing disappears silently.

Coming next

More tools are on the way, and you don't have to wait for one.

Your own exporter

The bundle format is open, and the Python SDK writes and validates bundles, so any script can feed Specivo.
